I grew up listening to Funk, Soul, Rare Groove and also fell in love with the heavy beats and synthesized sounds of Electro and Hip Hop. When House Music was born from the clubs of Chicago in the late eighties it set me on a wonderful path of discovery through to the present day when I devour Funky House tracks by the likes of Joey Negro, Masters At Work and Bah Samba to name but a few.

Meeting the walking music library that is Andy Welland in 2013 meant a huge leap in my education with other musical genres and a massive amount of inspiration, fun and wine (thanks Andy).

Andy and I first entered the studio together to see if we could make music in 2014. I had no music-making knowledge, he had a vast amount having trained in music production, but we found that together we created a unique sound, a blend of something contemporary, but also with the heritage of our music roots.

Andy does the clever composing bit, I listen, feel and arrange – drum beats here, pads there, a run of chords that give me goosebumps. On ‘Fundamentals’ I wanted a sound like a finger tapping a sofa, it took him 3 days, but he created it (he's very patient :).
